A NORAD Blimp is on the loose

If you can imagine this, you would never believe it!  Truth is stranger than fiction!  A NORAD blimp has broken loose from its tether and is flying loose over the state of Pennsylvania.  Two jets have been scrambled to follow it and to help to control air traffic in the region.

This is a huge blimp with very expensive equipment on board.  How the Defense will determine to handle the problem of protecting its interests in securing this blimp is yet to be seen.  It is said that it can fly for 30 days and can go as high as 10,000 feet. At present, it is projected to be higher than that.

All I can say is that photographers in the PA area should take advantage of this chance to photograph this blimp for I am sure that news media will be happy to get photos of this very rare phenomena, that of a NORAD blimp flying on its own through the skies.  You can bet that professionals are doing their best to locate it.

Personally, I think all low flying craft should be alerted to avoid the skies over Pennsylvania so that the military can somehow solve this serious problem.  I can just see the little train that could becoming a hero in capturing this huge vessel.  However, I am puzzled as to why it cannot have a system of automatic ground maneuverability should something like this happen.  I guess nobody ever suspected that cables could come loose from a tied blimp.  It boggles the mind!

Aren't these kind of important research weapons inspected daily?  Weekly at best?  What the heck is wrong with our government that this makes defense look like a fool?  I mean seriously.  Aren't those cables so strong that even a hurricane could not make them budge?  Obviously not!  Maybe some drone had capabilities that nobody could imagine!   Thinking of Tomorrowland, the movie!  I am shaking my head!

Quentin T vs. NYPD

Quentin Tarantino has decided to join the Black Lives Matter group to call the police "Murderers"!

This became the talk of the afternoon on two programs at Fox News.  Both Greta Van Susteren and Megan Kelly addressed the issue of excessive force used by the police in which too many  black men have died as a result of police work.

Megan Kelly could not control the black man who protested on behalf of the Black Lives Matter group and Mark Fuhrman could not take the black man's telling him to shut up so the matter was taken off the air.  Mark Fuhrman is a retired police officer who often appears on Fox news to represent the opinions of police officers.  The Black Man who was to be the opposing voice is a person whose name I did not get.

Greta Van Susteren talked with various police chiefs who were angry at the accusation that Quentin Tarantino had made, believing that he was adding fuel to the fire.  Anyone who knows anything about Quentin's movies knows that he deliberately loves to shock his audiences with excessive cruelties and criminal behavior.  He has always been very controversial so it should be no surprise to see him spouting this type of nonsense.

The simple truth is that when one obeys the law, respects the law, and supports the law, that person will probably never be brought to justice.  The fact that crime is prevalent in the black community is obvious to everyone.  When a child is carrying even a toy so that a man calls the police about it is reason to question what kind of parenting is this child getting.   When a child aims a toy at a police officer, it signals a threat to the officer.  Children have killed one another playing with loaded guns, so why be so lacking in understanding about a decision made to protect himself or others in the playground?

However, the sad truth is that the child was no threat, but yet a phone call had been made by a person watching him and observing him.

People must learn to think.  Learn all the facts before you judge.  Black people at the moment seem to be jumping to conclusions about these situations.  They seem never to take responsibility for their own actions. They always think of themselves as victims.  They seem to think that they can violate and disobey the law without paying the consequences for such actions.

It is a serious problem.  None of the rest of the law abiding world is very sympathetic to their case.

I think it time that they look at themselves as they really are.  Full of bias and prejudice.  Would any of them defend a white person who had suffered such a fate?  No, they do not. Because many white criminals have also received the same kind of treatment from the police.  As do Asians and Hispanics.  But to black people, only black people matter.

The best way to stay out of trouble is simple.  Obey the law, respect the law, and do not resist when under arrest!  Yes sir! No sir!  is the way to address a police officer.  It will keep you out of trouble.

I did learn that the hard way myself after I called a police officer a son of a bitch to his face! Yes, I became angry at what I thought was unfair treatment.  But he pulled rank on me...Only a judge was reasonable and saw through the police officer who was out of line in what he had done.  I understand the victim's point of view.  Believe me.  I have not ever forgotten that incident and hope that that sob suffered thigh burn on his motorcycle!  He did get reprimanded in court for what he had done!

But I was given advice, and it was to say Yes sir, No sir!  I am passing it on!

We know there are bad police officers. There are also good and so you must keep the faith!

Unusual properties

I do not generally entrust my inner source of knowledge to anyone at all, simply because I do not believe that many can ever understand what it is that I can describe that happens to me from within.  One, the unique capability is such that I do not know whether anyone can ever understand it but myself, and my only understanding is due to the fact that I actually experience it.

I have described incidents of time travel into the past which is generally accepted by others who have likewise had a similar experience.  Through a spiritualist network, I came to know that there are others besides myself who have had the same experience.  I recognized that we had similar signposts that exposed the fact that we had both undergone similar experiences.  There is a universality in experience which is always good to know.

But the experience I am going to describe today so far has not yet appeared in writings of paranormal experiences that I have read. Granted, since I do not delve into the paranormal that often, it could be present but it is unknown yet to me.

My experience has to do with voices.  When I sometimes am writing on a computer to a person I know and have met, I can hear their voice within my solar plexus loud and clear.  This does not happen often but it does happen, even with people I have not met in person but have come to know through t.v.   That is one reason I am writing this now.  It happened last night while I was writing a response to a t.v. reporter or anchor here on local t.v.  I have heard her often enough through watching t.v. but I had not know that my solar plexus had caught her voice until I wrote the response.

That surprised me. I have learned to accept this phenomena over time as it has been ongoing for many years, but usually it is about people who I consider friends or acquaintances, and sometimes celebrities or even in this case, local news.  That did surprise enough to cause me to finally put it into writing.

Let me explain. I have long studied the case of what is God or who is God as I have also studied a variety of religious beliefs during my short lifetime.  One of my first papers in college was about how religious beliefs influence us and our psyche.  Can we be healthy rational people with so many conflicting religious views?

Eventually, I came to understand the meaning of omniscience itself.  Omnipresent, omnipotent, and other omni's are common to describe the state of God being.  Eventually, I came to understand how a single entity designated as God would be overwhelmed with just listening to all the prayers of all the people on the face of the earth.  God must be larger than the largest planet in the solar system to accommodate so many wishes, dreams, and pleadings as the numbers of souls on the earth ply to this entity.  However, due to microchips which can hold so much material at one time, God may be the size of a grain of sand if one thinks about it enough.  I am sure God is a seed.

I caught a glimpse of this many times as I began to develop qualities within myself that showed me an insight into this concept of an omniscient being.

All knowing is something that even a library cannot pretend to be.  A library may house all the great books of the world yielding all kinds of information that science, history, and technology can supply yet alone all the creative aspects, art, music, literature, etc. that one can only get a glimmer into the mind and thoughts of an all knowing being.

Anyway, I digress.  The point is that one quality being learned within myself about my spiritual development is that my solar plexus houses music, sounds, and voices of key people in my life.  I have found it fascinating but  am convinced that only a rare person could understand it yet alone explain it.

As one time long ago, someone said so that I became aware of it, it is as if there is a radio in my abdomen.  Yet I also have clairaudience which is not quite the same thing. I am clairvoyant at times as well, seeing visions in advance of their physical appearance in time to all the world.  So it goes. This is just a beginning of my sharing some of my unique experiences.  I hope that this does not frighten anyone.

oh my

It is late in the evening or early morning.  I had ordered a camera from HSN which did arrive today. i had to cancel an appointment to have my phone paired to my car because I simply did not want to drive into Phoenix today.

I will probably go to Chandler to see if they will do it. i am sure that they will.

The Benghazi Hearing with Hillary Clinton

I arrived a little bit late to catch the ongoing drama of the Benghazi hearing which the Republicans have been harping on ever since the ambassador and personnel were killed in Libya.  Hillary Clinton decided to be a key witness in giving testimony to the events of the attack on the consulate in Benghazi today.  I took time to watch the proceedings having listened to discussions about  it from Trey Gowdy on Greta Van Susteren's On the Record show.

The Republicans were very thorough and hard hitting in their questioning the former Secretary of State while the Democrats were totally sympathetic to the point of absurdity declaring even that there was no reason to have such a hearing.

The Republicans naturally countered that the four lives were worth whatever price it cost when the Democrats complained about the expense of the hearing and the time spent collecting information about the events to learn the truth.

The truth about Hillary Clinton came about eventually as she was proved to have changed her stories to the Egyptians, her family, and to the American public.  To the Egyptians and her family she admitted that it was a preplanned attack but to the general public she pretended that it had been the result of a provocative video that was being distributed to the world at large to see.  It did anger the Muslim world enough to be thought as a good cover for what was a preplanned organized terrorist attack.

The Republicans successfully proved that Clinton had no real interest in Chris Stevens at all, not remembering him at some function where he was present, and not bothering to talk with him after his appointment as ambassador.

The problem is that the ambassador had requested security but his requests were ignored or forgotten.  It was never made clear to me whether it was because Hillary's staff did not pass on the requests to her, or that she simply ignored them.  In my opinion, that answer was never fully given.  She was pursued to explain if she had ever talked with him on the phone.  Susan Brooks of Indiana pointed out that no phone calls were on record despite Hillary answering that she must have talked with him at some time.  Clearly, Hillary could not remember Chris Stevens very well at all after he replaced his successor who she recalled well.

Yet, despite her indifference to him she protested that he could find her 24/7 if he had wanted. Why then did his requests for extra security go  without response but during that same time, her interest was focused on emails from Simon Blumenthal who was giving her not so great advice about Libya.  This little discourse on Simon Blumenthal brought out the fact that all his advice when sent to the White House went without identifying him as the source of the information.  This is because Simon Blumenthal had been rejected to work for the Obama administration by Obama and his advisor, Rahm Emanuel.  Blumenthal hated the Obama administration it is learned and so Hillary did not want Obama to learn that she was feeding him information directly from him.

So the game of Republican versus Democrat played out all morning, afternoon, into evening while the two parties wrestled with one another, one jabbing and probing, and the other consoling and defending the much beleaguered former Secretary of State.

At one point in the series of questions which Hillary handled adroitly and readily without pause, she finally broke into a fit of hysterical laughter at a question leveled at her.  Twice in the proceedings she found laughter to be her only release from a tense and trying question and answer session.  Near the end,  Hillary suffered a coughing problem, probably due to the fact that she had carried the entire show on her shoulders talking more than any other single player.  Her voice went a bit raspy until she found relief when someone finally fetched her  glass of water to drink, and lozenge to comfort her dry throat.

However, Hillary is a member of the court, has been a practicing attorney for years, and knows how to play the game well.  The courtroom is a form of theatre, and the proceedings are very much like a play.  She offered to be a witness knowing that she would be THE STAR.

All these attorneys must be taken with a grain of salt since they are conditioned so well to perform in a court room setting. My favorite line was when Hillary pointed out the difference between courtroom behavior and governmental behavior. It turns out that government is the place where one can pull the wool over the eyes of the pubic and the electorate, but court room behavior has tighter rules to follow.  When Gowdy tried to chastise her by not placing identifiers on a document for the President to read, he reminded Hillary that in a court of law that would not be allowed. She countered with the statement, "This is not a courtroom. This is government!"  What a statement!  I roared with laughter.

The hearing is called political theatre by political analysts. One commentator called it Hillary's audition for the presidency.   Many commentators later appeared to be in awe of her performance calling her presidential, cool, calm, and reliable.  Critics knocked her for laughing it up, raising her hands in the air as in victory, and acting overly elated when discussing the demise of four men in the service of their country.  Whether she should be criticized for that depends upon whether you are concerned about her presidential aspirations or whether you care about the men who lost their lives and their families who were sitting in that very audience able to see her act like a woman in a sporting event.  Obviously, her behavior exposed her inner insecurities and fears since she seemed to think that she had done well.  Sadly, her concern about the families appears to mirror her concern for Ambassador Stevens.

The Republicans who made the boat rock a bit were Susan Brooks, Martha Roby,  Jim Jordan, and Lynn Westmoreland.  Oddly enough, their intensive grilling helped Hillary more than hurt her.  She finally found her sparring partners to sharpen her skills.

Hillary and Trey Gowdy are strange partners in crime as they both complemented one another.  Trey Gowdy is a small, shrewish type man with a sharp, penetrating voice that exposes an even more razor like mind.  HIs legal skills are impressive, a little man with a huge voice and humongous brain.  Amazing to see the two of them trade barbs back and forth.  Hillary is a large woman, wearing her hairstyle in a fully blown blonde color.  At her age, she should let her white hair appear natural but she is competing with young women and does not want her approaching 70 to frighten the young away.  She is a grandmother, and I believe that is where she should focus her future.   While i do respect her stonewalling technique today, I do not find her ready or able to fulfill the responsibilities of a capable and competent president.  Even though she has already spent her time in that co-presidency she performed with her husband Bill Clinton.

It must have been very frustrating to her that she could only play the role of First Lady instead of First President.  Now she wants the public to give her another chance at doing things her way in the White House once again.  I say enough already!  No more of the Clinton Family or the Bush Family in the White House.  This country has suffered too much already from both families.  I certainly do not want a male Monica Lewinsky to show up to expose Hillary for her indiscretions.  It is obvious to me that men love women who are in power positions and little doubt that she has her share of admirers and fans who fantasize about her even if she is a grandmother figure now.  Men are always hot after women!  And nothing so exciting as a powerful woman to brag about!

For $47 million dollars and 17 months, the Benghazi hearing may soon be nearing a close.  But more witnesses are to be called.   Only four men are gone forever, and their families are still crying about their loss.  Perhaps the truth will be learned yet.

Apple Workshop on iPhone

I have attended three different  iPhone workshops, but this one is the one where I finally learned minor details that I had no idea existed on this phone.  We had a woman who called herself Maria but on the survey sent to me was called ISSA so I do not know who to believe at this point.  It matters not because she was a very nice, warm, friendly woman who did actually teach us something about our iPhones that I had not known until now.

For instance, I did not know that when one is making contacts with a person that one can tell whether the person you are contacting has an iPhone or another make.  I learned that at last.

Just a minor detail but very important. I also learned how to put the phone's keyboard into all caps rather than doing it one at a time...at last, that has been explained, something which always irritated and annoyed me until I learned the trick.

Because I told some man that there is a User's guide on the phone, she also then taught us how to find the Guide and we made it so that we have it on our screen page to access immediately. She reminded us to become familiar with each and every topic by opening it and reading it.

I can now do that much for myself.

We also learned more about the settings for iCloud.

It was an hour well spent.  I gave her a rave review on my survey asking about the session.  I thought she did great.

Next day, I did have to go to check on computer about disc doctor.  It was explained to me that I did not need it, and that my computer was ready for the next upgrade which I did myself when I returned home.  Nice guy, this Michael, who opened it for me so I could find it at once when I got back home. It takes an hour to install but now my computer is fully updated, and  believe it or not, I may get back to using it more often now.

So everything went well for me at Apple store.

Rain Storms

The storms that hit California have come to Arizona and Nevada.  Visions of cars and trucks swept away under piles of mud is mind boggling.  It was hard to understand how these cars and trucks were caught in a sudden mudslide along Interstate 5 in California.  More is expected to come.  These cars and trucks were buried under and it is possible that operators may have been stuck in a pile of mud from which they could not escape so an effort is being made to learn if that happened. It happened so rapidly that people had to wade through the mud or climb atop the rooftops of the cars to wait for help.  It is a horrifying sight to see that these many vehicles were totally demolished in matters of minutes.

For that reason alone, I am often wary of driving alone a long distance to get to either Nevada or California. I do want to go to both Del Mar and Santa Anita and to Las Vegas yet.    But who could ever anticipate a mudslide that violent and dangerous?

In analyzing my caution to drive that far on my own, I am being honest with myself about my recent bout of nerves which has caused me to have panic attacks on three occasions just here in the city limits of Phoenix and Scottsdale.

I try to visualize a worry free trip but as soon as I get near the major cities of San Diego or Las Vegas, I try to find a side street that will take me off the freeway to drive at speeds that are in my comfort zone.  Whenever I obey the laws to drive only 65, invariably, everyone is passing me at 80 mph.  I know that they are going that fast at least for suddenly they are far in front of me as I chug along at a reasonable 65.  The old turtle in the road.

So, what to do?  I debate it all the time, not getting anywhere yet.

Fragile blooms versus Strong Wind

Tiny buds, pink and red,
thrown about,
trembling softly,
struggling,
tenaciously hanging onto branch,
fierce winds,
raging,
tormenting
tiny buds,
boldly staying,
defying,
swift sudden piercing
swells
plundering,
tossing,
tiny buds
pink and red,
invisible winds blow.

New iPhone

On October 13, I received an email from Sprint which said that my phone had been sent to the Sprint store where I had ordered it. I had been told that I could get a new phone now since Apple has made it possible to upgrade each year if you have the right server.

I lease mine from Sprint and it turns out that I am eligible.

I am so excited about it.  I did track it very carefully to see when it would be delivered.  So it turns out that it could come in today and I waited and finally called the store after I knew for certain that it had been delivered.

I called this afternoon because after all, why not? If it is here, why not get it now.  Sure enough, as I am on my way to the store,  the store does decide to call me to let me know that it is there and that I can pick it up.

The girl who had informed me that I could get it was quite right about how easy it was to transfer all my information from one phone to the other so in a short time I had my phone up and running. I was so ready to get this phone.

I have payed with it a little. The three d function that talk about is absolutely incredible. I love the way it works. I finally got into pinterest again to see what for pins are there, but I will say that the transfer did not go as expected on that or on the mail.  I am learning.

I made an appointment to go to a workshop on Monday.  There are some things that need to be straightened out as far as I can see.  And I always like to have a chance to ask questions. The guy at Sprint was fairly good at some of the changes, and he did show me the 3 d function as they call it.

I like the clarity of the photos that come through the various media groups. I have not yet taken a photo but one of the box that it came in. I decided to show the box against the backdrop of the Sprint shopping bag.

My earplugs and charger are still in the box. I have not taken them out yet.

Going to bed now.

My rant on politics as of this day! October 9, 2015

The Democratic party has only two candidates to date who seem to have garnered much interest from both the public and the democrats themselves.  Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders seem to get the most attention from the press and the party machinery itself.  It makes a person believe that the Democrats are like organized crime, where everyone must kowtow to the party bosses, and guess who is bossing everyone around.  Mrs. Hillary Clinton, who else?  Certainly not her husband who looks like he is hiding way behind the skirts that she never wears...in her cases, the pants in the family.

Bernie Sanders has drawn young people to his events, gathering great crowds, which appears to be an antiHillary kind of protest and Bernie is the only person to run to see in this lackluster group of wannabes.   There are three other men, Lincoln Chaffee, Jim Webb, and Martin O'Malley, who are trying to get noticed, but so far none has had even one interviewer from the press feature them in any story.  Will that change after the debate that is going to be held this Tuesday through CNN?  I wonder.

I cannot stand Hillary's shrill voice to even think about bothering to tune in to listen to the debate hosted by Anderson Cooper.  Only curiosity to see if the other three gentleman will get a chance to become a household word might cause me to bother with it at all.  O'Malley has presented a few ads saying that the presidency is not a crown to be passed around.  The real problem with Hillary is that she has been co-president with Bill Clinton, first Lady, and then Secretary of State.  Her greed and gluttony for power is now obvious in her wanting to muzzle every other candidate so she can take home all the chips in this poker game.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump and Ben Carson are leading in the polls for the Republican nomination.  I will not dissect this phenomena yet because I just cannot understand what is going on in this party that the three top candidates have never one day served in a political office of any kind at all.  What the heck gives that they are the top picks?  It is mind boggling to me.

The sorrow is that the media is who thinks that all the publicity that they can focus on a candidate is who the public will follow.  That means that the news media is attempting to control the election to influence the voters to vote for the candidates that they push through their hourly broadcasts.  Can the media have that much influence?

Well, Ross Perot shot to the top in attention getting tactics years ago just due to appearing on the Larry King Show.  He did not campaign that much but he was a regular visitor who drew inordinate interest from people.  He knew he was rich so that he could take someone's ideas and use them as his own and win votes that way.  Donald Trump must have paid a lot of attention to him then for he has been doing much the same thing in a totally different way.

That is where we are now.  15 candidates or more are vying for attention on the Republican campaign trail, and each are vastly different in personal appearance, presentation, and captivating performances when under fire, but all the same spouting the same philosophy that gets them GOP votes. All are pretty much mirror images of one another regarding party platform.  So image must be the real focal point that makes a voter decide upon which of the candidates will get their vote.  There is no diversity allowed on stage amongst these soundalike, lookalikes. The only reason that Donald Trump is getting all the attention is that he is not trying to be politically correct.  He has been shooting from the hip, and the GOP'ers love it.

The Democrats are waiting to see if Joe Biden will decide to run for the top job too.  That might make the run for the top nod in his party more interesting if he does decide to gather his delegates while he may.  The poker game changes in a big way if he does decide to run.

Believe it or not, Joe has a good shot at winning his way into keeping the WH for the Democrats, but time will tell.  The Republicans have not yet decided which of their Big Boys or One Lady can be the leader of their party come nomination time.  Usually, the pendulum does swing, after a long unhappy time with a given party like the Dems, but the Republicans appear to be in disarray so that one can only wonder if they will get their act together to finally join hands in taking WH back.

This big stakes poker game is just getting started.  Time will tell.

Friends

Since I have lived in Arizona I have made very few lasting friendships.  I have had here today and gone in a flash friends with whom I have partied, attended social events, but none who have been truly long lasting.   However, one friend has stood by me, and stayed with me, and is still not ashamed to be seen with me in public as the saying goes.

That is all.

Going shopping now

I did go to Fry's grocery in Apache Junction this afternoon to check out seafood prices.  They were way too expensive for me so I did not buy a thing. I will have to try again this weekend somewhere else.

I am going to try to cut down on my sugar, carbohydrates, and even red meat to see if I can lose some weight now.  I need to lost 35 pounds in the next six months, and I must get the will power to achieve it.

There are two Fry stores that I really like, one on Gilbert Road, and the other in Apache Junction, but I am determined to get my diet under control.  Will I really do it? I just do not know yet.  I am very weak about some things,  but once again I will try.

Tomorrowland And The Martian

I have spent time writing on several movies that I have just seen, The Martian, and Tomorrowland.  Both struck me as being very personal to me.  My dentist once told me about my Hollywood friends, and eventually, through movies, I learn which friends that he may have had in mind.

I will admit that when i was young, I was movie star struck, and like everyone else in the world, dreamed of one day being a big Hollywood star on the silver screen.  Those ideas are easily replaced by even greater dreams as one grows up to realize that being a moviestar is not so really great after all.

But when I first went to California I did manage to see many movie stars who in my day were held up to a very high standard so that when we met up with them, it was really something very special.

I saw Roy Rogers in person at one of the two major racetracks in California, and I have forgotten which one it was, but think it was probably Santa Anita Race Park.  I have since seen many t.v. and movie stars at the race track.  They are easy to spot there, and are are usually a part of the crowd, but when I saw Roy, he was with a horse that probably he had a connection to.  Later, I even saw Dale Robertson in person but I was bold enough to get his autograph. I just stared at Roy Rogers, a cowboy who I had watched at the Ohio Theater in Van Wert on Saturday mornings.  I loved Roy and his wife, Dale Evans.

Since that early time, I have seen many stars.  One is Billy Crystal who I saw in person standing in front of me with his wife, Janice, in Durango, Co.  After I saw the movie, I realized why he and his wife acted the way that they had when they turned around to see me.  Yes, I was standing right behind him, and when I saw the film, City Slickers, I got the joke.  Curly, I am not, but I do know that they made it appear that I was the character that Jack Palance played in the film.  Sure, I said to myself!

You will never believe that Tom Hanks sat next to me on a city bus all the way from LA to Anaheim, I bet.  I really loved Tom then.  We were just regular fellow passengers, and don't worry, I know which movie he has in mind on that one too!

So for now,  I will take a pause in naming my Hollywood friends.  Probably one who got the closet to me besides Tom is Paul Rodriguez.  We went bowling together.

Bye bye for now.

Old Problem Returned

I go to extremes it seems just to prove some things and today was one of the more successful, but that is not the reason I decided to write this post.  But I must say that it involved CNN, Jake Trapper, and Governor Christie of New Jersey who was being interviewed.

But I began this post to discuss a problem that i have had for years since living in Scottsdale, and which had in fact had stopped for a long time until this past Tuesday.  I am so unhappy that it returned but I began to figure out some things in it this time round.

I have had a problem with a bleeding nose. I called it similar to a stigmata at one time which I do believe to some extent.  Let me explain that learning about former lifetimes in which I gain information about a person in the past does sometime help in this lifetime.  I will explain as I go along with this tale.

I never understood why it was that my nose began to bleed at times, but I associated it with St. John's Wort at one time so that I stopped taking the substance even though I do believe it is good for a form of mild depression.  It does lift what I call a veil over one's mind so that it clears it away a lot the way that cleaning dirty glass lens enables you to see more clearly.

But when I began to have nose bleeds I stopped the St. John's Wort believing that it may have activated this nose problem.

It happened to me often during the years that i lived in Scottsdale, but in recent years it has not occurred in a long time. I am so relieved and happy when it does not take place but I learned not to fear it after I read the story of Genghis Khan.  Would you believe that my spirit guide has told me that i had been Genghis Khan also?  At that point in going back in time, I went back to only a few times in Khan's life to stop the process of hypnotic trance sessions for some time.  If I ever go back again, it will be to see what i can find but I did grow tired of living in yesterday no matter how famous the person had been.

So i went to see a movie called Tomorrowland on Tuesday for $1.00 and during the movie I was somehow or other synced into the film so that I could know exactly what was going on many times  partly because it was easy to see where it was going and what it was using as its foundation for some of its so called plot lines. One regarding time travel certainly has to have had to be similar to my own experiences in living in the past and learning things there.  I readily understood some of what they were saying because I have done it so often.

So writing about that movie the other day activated that bleeding problem and I even got a drop of blood on the computer key, hitting the yu and hj keys.  I took note because I am aware of the significance of these things.

I then woke up at 4:30 in the morning to have another bloody nose problem, and it dawned on me then that we are in the Genghis Khan period.  So I looked up some quotes that he is known or said to have said, and some were very relevant to me.  But thanks to Genghis Khan info I am able to get through these bleeding sessions.

I have to wait until a clot forms to know that the bleeding is done.  Genghis is famous for having been born with a clot in his hand.  The story goes.

Now this is all important to me.  That is why I am taking the time to write this out because often when I write things out, it helps to solve problems for me. I get insights into life situations occasionally when I can express my feelings.

If I were to tell everything that happens to me on a regular basis, it would probably astonish some. I receive thoughts that I let simply filter through my mind and out again.  Often these ideas are significant and helpful to me on many levels, but saying them aloud would probably disturb anyone who might be listening in.  That is my main contention is that I am being listened in upon all the time, and today's social intercourse with Gov. Chrstie proved it to me to a great degree.

So I am now watching CNN again where Natalie Allen is discussing today's news with correspondents.

I will pause for awhile.

Tomorrowland

Superstition Springs Mall has a small movie  theatre where one can see movies cheap.

For $1.00 I decided to see Tomorrowland, a silly science fiction fantasy tale starring George Clooney,

The plot essentially is simple.  A small boy, Frank Walker,  whose invention was rejected in a contest held at the World's Fair has grown into an adult grumpy old man who lives in a secluded house built to ward off visitors.  HIs house is equipped with security devices to protect him from real or imagined enemies.  When at the World's Fair he has met with a small girl who has given him a pin to wear on his shirt. This pin gives him special powers in which he encounters robots who are trying to kill him.  His house is designed to protect him from these robots which seem to be trying to thwart his every move.  He has become a recluse hidden away in this two story home hidden in the woods.

Meantime, a young girl,Casey, whose father works at the Space Industry is spying on the offices at the launch pad, using a  drone to get inside to sabotage a planned launch.  On her second attempt, she is caught and thrown in jail,  so that when released, she finds a pin amongst her belongings, which has an effect on her when she touches it.  It instantly transports her into a wheat field looking at a distant Disneyland castle of Tomorrowland.  Really farfetched at this point, since only she is affected by the touch of this pin, but soon enough she finds herself in Tomorrowland, investigating all the future rides and events of the imaginary place.

Now the real reason that I am discussing this in a blog is because some of the insights and theories in this strange film are basically for real and not so fanciful after all.  For some reason, this film and I were able to make contact in such a way that I could see exactly where this plot of some imbedded device impacting one's life can be very real.

What often seems like imagination and fantasy is not so far-fetched at all, and can and does take place.

In the case of the robots, there is no doubt that these are all preprogrammed and designed to perform deeds by some outer source.  But the concept of an outer force being able to invade one's own mind, or one's own solar plexus is not far-fetched at all, but is little realized or understood, or for that matter, discussed.

Two successive blogs related to this follow now.

Old Problem Returned Part 2

Last night I was explaining about my bleeding nose problem which I have decided takes me back to the time of Genghis Khan.

My solar plexus area is where most of the information comes to me for past lifetimes.  At one time, at a local bookstore in Fashion Square, Bretano's, I believe it was,  I felt myself drawn to a book that was placed high on a shelf there so that I took it down to read. It was always Genghis Khan that I was being drawn to; whereas, at the library it had been Louis XIV.  I will admit that I would have learned nothing about any of these men in my past were it not for these spiritual guides who did draw me to the books that existed telling their stories.  Often I could go into the library and immediately find a book that would verify in writing some of the information that I had gleaned from within through trance induced excursions back into time.

I admit that I was absolutely dumbfounded when I first saw Genghis Khan as I knew immediately before he entered the room for me to see him who it was. I have this ability to sense things prior to their so called arrival. It is called precognition.  But I had not been prepared for the size and might of Genghis Khan, his magnetism alone, was a surprise to me.

I do not care to go into  this too much since it occurred about the time that America was involved in Iraq and it brings up some unpleasant memories about events that actually occurred in this time period. I have learned too often that events that I experience in the past can be replicated in a way that is surprising in the present.  That alone also helped me to stop trying to learn about the past, yet I admit that I am intrigued enough yet that someday I may try it again just to see what I can learn now.

The tv is getting my interest right now. It is nearly noon here, and I am watching Gretchen Carlson explain about Barack Obama's trip to Roseburg, Oregon and now a story about more rain in South Carolina.

But back to my discussion of reincarnation, Tomorrowland, and something that Mandy Hall once asked me, that maybe the nosebleed is a punishment for going back in time.  I know that people are superstitious about it.

Granted, it sounds vain glorious to have been able to access the lives of so many famous male personalities in a female body, and may make people wonder if I secretly want to be a man.  I remember as a child knowing that boys have more fun than girls when I was a bit of a tomboy. I liked to climb trees, and was pretty athletic in my childhood but I grew out of it. I was always able to hold my own with the boys in my neighborhood, but no, I have never wanted to be a man.

Adolescence and menstrual periods change everything for girls.  I began my period early in life, and whenever I have these nosebleeds, I remember menstrual periods so I do not worry about losing blood that much, but I still do not like it for them to reoccur.

Now, when I do go back in time, I literally do fall in love with the characters I find myself in, and for me that is a good thing to know about them.  If you stop to think that most were mass killers but on a national scale, it would make anyone wonder at where in myself can I say that this is Heaven's way.  I obviously do believe that it is Heaven's giving me this information so I question all this myself, knowing what I know about each as written in history, and conjectured and speculated by minds who would like to understand them.  Fortunately, for me, I relive them so I know how they feel and think, and how they appear and look to others.

I am very protective of this even though I have shared some of it with others to realize that some people were only using me for their own purposes, and I do have proof of that in the movie that Oliver Stone made about Alexander the Great. Of course, he totally and cruelly messed up the entire story of Alexander to really make it look foolishly and positively melodramatic and mad.

So here I am finding myself in different time periods, always male, and wondering since my mother asked me, "Were you ever a woman?"  I answered yes of course, but i have no recollections of any lifetimes when I was, but I had to think I may have been, but none have surfaced to my knowledge.

I am woman now anyway.

I admit I have glimpsed into a future life in which I am also female and have seen how I look then.  That is something that I have kept to myself too, hoping that maybe this would be my final incarnation, but if I must live in flesh again, I am pretty convinced of my own appearance.   I will be tall I am certain, brunette, and caucasian.  That is all I will tell.  I even know a bit more but since it is a future I should not discuss it much..

But that is the reason that Tomorrowland resonated with me.  I am wondering now about the writers of that show to know this much. That is all for now.

Hillary Clinton on SNL

Apache Junction OTB

Today was a crazy day, and because I got off to a bad start, I had rather a mixed state of feelings all day long.  I went to the post office to put in my Cox payment for my t.v. and wifi, and the darn gear got stuck in park when I tried to drive away. I could not get it out of park and did not know to do anything but turn the motor off to get started again and on my way.  Generally, I love my car all to pieces but this one time I did not since there was a car parked behind me waiting to get in to put his mail in the box.

Then I stopped at two different Walgreen's to find that neither carried an ATM machine. I had to find a bank in AJ to go to the races but in fact after finally finding one and drawing out some dollars I did not even bet or spend any of it.  I did get a receipt to learn my balance which is important for me to know. I am hoping to win enough to put some back into it.

So I finally found the OTB after going to the Fry's supermarket to finally see what it is like inside. It is exactly as I expected, and I found some nice people willing and able to help and a few who are just ignorant who do not know anything about banks or AJ even if they have lived here all their lives.

I like that Fry's store and found that Desert Schools is banking there instead of Chase.  Interesting to find so many Desert School branches now.

Finally, I get inside the OTB which is a former greyhound racing facility, and a nice one at that, so that I liked what I saw.  They were kind to me, and did not pressure me at all, so I sat and watched some races at Santa Anita.  They have enough machines where you can put cash into the machine so that you don't need to run to the sales clerk for a voucher. I liked that and I like the new machines which are designed for dog racing.  I did win my first superfecta on a machine like that at Phoenix Greyhound Park.

So I am happy now that i have found the place and will go there to place my bets for the Breeders Cup.  The sales lady was very nice and helpful to me as I talked to her about the methods of betting. I had picked up two tickets that were losers but had key bets that intrigued me. I could hardly believe it. Sometimes we need to know exactly how people do bet.

A key ticket with one single win horse or dog bet with all, all for a trifecta cost $136.00.  A second bet was All on win, and two named horses on place and show, both the same cost $32.00 I was awestruck to think that people bet this way.

This place opens at 9:00 since most of the dog races start in the East and we have a three hour time difference. In November, the time will change to opening at 10:00 she said.

At least, I have found a place to play.  The long shots at Santa Anita paid in three consecutive maiden races while I was there to see them.  I could hardly believe it.  In one race, a horse name of Mesa Sky did win and paid $78.80.  Unbelievable!  Two previous races had long shots pay great prices too.

Taught me a lesson!

My reaction to the movie The Martian

There are a slew of movies out that I would like to see, and so one of them is The Martian.  I did see it at the noon showing this morning in 3-D

This is a movie in which the eyeglasses create a visual effect that makes the movie much more satisfying and fulfilling when seen in dimensions instead of flattened appearance.  Just the floating in the sky lab alone made the 3-d effects worthwhile but many other features proved that the $ spent is worth it.

The Martian is based upon a book by the same name written by Andy Weir.  I do not know who Andy is but I keep wanting to say weird instead of weir and as the main character's name is Mark Watney, I notice that MW looks like BMW.  A missing B and D letter makes a lot of sense to me.

Several things in the movie caused me to reflect back to my childhood, to an experience in Durango, and upon a mountain landscape that looks like Superstition Mountain here in AZ.  Crapo, Mark was lucky that he had a nice desert landscape in which to ride around in his dune buggy.  Far better than the drive to Payson.

But finally after reaching his destination a number popped up which made it perfectly clear to me that this movie has targeted me.  Guess what. Then I learn that the handbook was published on my birthday in 2014.  Coincidence...not hardly   I know a setup when i see it.

So, o.k., I know how Mark felt when planting his potatoes. I had learned how to do that when I was a young child in Ohio. My grandmother taught me the correct way that she planted potatoes, and I always loved it when the plants grew and produced new potatoes.  There is nothing like pulling potato plants out of the ground, and finding a bunch of them hidden in the roots.  It is great fun.
But life is lonely on a country farm when all you have is your grandmother, grandfather, and a few cows, chickens, and dogs and cats.  I would play with the pups in the front yard, hiding in the many peony bushes, and played dead so that the dogs would come to see what was wrong with me. I could always catch them that way.

Memories like that are fun.  Watching your life flash before you makes me think that they really think I am dead. Hey! I am alive, but we played that game years ago on a t.v. show right after i had left California for parts unknown.

Anyway, back to the movie...Mark manages to prove he is superhuman by accomplishing all kinds of feats that even the most over skilled and over talented man could not possibly do, but being a resourceful person who refuses to quit, he finally manages to contact NASA to have open communications, proving that the accident which left him stranded on Mars while his crew mates safely blast off to safer parts has not defeated him.

Once NASA corrects its assumption that Mark was killed, officials must find a way to save him, to sustain him until he can be safely brought back to earth.  At this point, the plot steers away from Mark and onto the shoulders of the team back on earth who must find a way to save him.  In the meantime, his crew is finally told that he is alive and well, having left with the assumption and belief that he had been killed.

Jeff Daniels portrays the director of NASA in a rather brusque but pragmatic voice that lends a certain kind of credence to the political aspects of the space program.  The ethnic diversity provided a glimpse into the way that the space program has truly integrated the races into one because of intelligence and accomplishment in engineering and scientific skills.  The crew members however emphasized sexual equality more than racial equality.  All six were congenial partners for cohabitation on Mars if necessary.

For two and one half hours, the viewer is entertained by the glimpse into the work that would be required of anyone who would want to travel to Mars.  For JPL to have successfully placed Rover on Mars is a great feat, but so many more missions would be necessary to have equipment sufficient to handle and support a life system, that it would take many decades before one could even contemplate a manned flight.  Mars is not exactly a drop in for a few days and turn around to get back home spot.

Some of these drastic elements were well made in the story telling of saving Mark Watney.

Does NASA succeed?  Does Mark find hope in his farming effort?  Does his crew learn of his fate? Does Mark make it to his rendezvous spot?  Does his makeshift vehicle survive?  Does the world know of his fate?  Does it even care?

Tune in to watch the trailer or the teaser or better yet...got to the movie to see.  Maybe you will find something in the film that reminds you of your childhood? or your cellmate?  or your latest blowup in your face episode?  or maybe even your social security number?

Hey world! I know all the answers to these questions.  I have seen it.  thumbs up!

The Martian

Today, I decided to see the flick The Martian starring Matt Damon.

I have not read the book upon which this is based, The Martian by Andy Weir.  I began reading reviews of it a few minutes ago on Goodreads but my cellphone had to be recharged.  Will pick it up again after it is recharged just to see who likes and who does not like the book which turns out to be published in hard back edition on Feb.11, 2014.  My birthday.

First clue in movie that made me think I remember this is when he is planting potatoes to survive in his new habitat.  I was flashed back to Ohio City on my grandparent's farm to remember when my grandmother Mae showed me how to plant potatoes in the garden.    We had to hoe the ground, dig trenches, and then cut up potatoes into quarters, plant them, water them, and wait til they grew.  At harvest time, we would pull the plant out to find all the potatoes that were buried under hidden among all the long roots. I loved potatoes forever!

So this guy uses my grandmother's technique and grows his own survival kit of homegrown potatoes, the best kind.

My only companions on the farm were my puppies, and my favorite was a dog named Happy. I would play dead so that he would come over to sniff me and see if I was all right.  This guy in the movie does not play dead but is presumed dead when an antenna hits him in the chest knocking him out so that he cannot climb aboard the spacecraft to exit Mars.  He is left for dead. No doggies to come running over to see if he is dead or alive.

The guy's name is Mark.  Mark Watney.  Not BMW but close enough.  MW.  That is important to me.Monograms are always important.

O.K. Enough for now.  Am going to Live Journal for awhile.

Movie Review: The Martian

Andy Weir's book The Martian has been turned into a popular celluloid Hollywood flick.  Because I am a night owl I watch the late night television talk shows, and so happened to catch Matt Damon when he appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show.  A clip from the movie was shown and so I decided that I should see this movie today.

I have not read the book on which this movie is based so I have no idea whether the book is faithfully reproduced or not.

Hollywood has had so many movies about space travel that all of it seems fantasy more than reality, and frankly, since real space travel is probably boring as all get out, there is little reason to think that any film could be a thriller.  I think that the best space film so far has been Space Odyssey:2001 directed by Stanley Kubrick, but this Martian film has some interesting plot devices.  The only reason Space Odyssey:2001 is halfways interesting today is because of the computer malfunction and the final scenes which end up today resembling a giant cellphone or tablet. So in that sense, it may have been prophetic or just an easy device to copy.

The plot is simple enough: astronaut finds himself in  trouble after crew leaves him all alone on Mars while they try to get to space lab.  They assumed that he was dead when he was hit during a violent dust storm.  Later, when NASA learns that Mark is still alive, there is an effort to try to save him.

So naturally enough, the movie deals with his having to learn how to survive the elements, how the crew learns that he is alive, how the men at JPL and at NASA determine whether he is a value target, whether they can send him supplies  to stay alive, or whether he can be rescued at all.

The film must be projected into an entire new century, 2100 perhaps, but certainly not in this one.  To have to transport all the materials needed to survive on the planet will take so many different missions that it will take decades before man could even begin to build a colony on the planet.  But this film does include a reference to Rover and other imagined vehicles that are supposed to be useful to surviving the planet.

The equipment alone made me realize the futility in even dreaming of traveling to Mars.   One small Rover on Mars does not a colony make.

I related to the movie big time and in a previous post realized the similarity and why it seems to me that once again someone is picking on me.    I maybe could take a few hints to realize that maybe somebody is really listening on my every word, as I have been trying so hard to determine, and that maybe I had better consider the fact that i may have to move again.

I felt at home in this group who speak my lingo!  I was more specific in previous post but this one I am editing to share.   The final scenes made me think of all the red tape we had to cut to attain some goals in the past.  That may give a clue as to why this film is to be taken not so much as thriller but as political.

thumbs up if you see it in 3-D.  Otherwise, it is rather ordinary Hollywood masturbation!

The Martian

A long running joke on Jimmy Kimmel is that Matt Damon doesn't get to appear on the show so it was interesting to see Matt Damon make it onto the Late Late Show on CBS with James Corden to promote his movie The Martian.

The Martian is based upon a book written by Andy Weir.  Damon explained that the movie was based upon the book after a clip from the movie was shown.  As he explained it, Weir had thought about how a man would survive on the planet , but screenplay writers  take over to turn this into another exciting Hollywood flick.

There is no doubt in my mind that both Everest and The Martian are somehow or other directed right at me. I won't explain at this time but I just learned more specifically why I think that the Martian is for sure.

But I will say this much about it. Years ago on my grandparents farm in Northwestern Ohio, I learned how to plant potatoes. I learned to cut them into pieces, and to plant them in the dirt in my grandmother's garden back of her house. I can see rows and rows of potatoes growing there, and I was so happy and proud to pull up potato plants which held fresh new born potatoes in the roots. I also loved the grape arbors which were on my granddad's back porch.  I absolutely love concord grapes, so sweet. I would put each grape in my mouth, drawing the inside out from the skin, and suck the skin dry before throwing it out.

Memories I have of growing on a farm, picking eggs out from under a pecking hen's beak, and playing with the puppies in the front lawn. Looking back, it sounds as though I had a great life then.  But it was lonely.  I loved the dogs, played dead with them, so that they would run up to me, and check to see if I was all right.

My grandmother had a piano, so I learned to finger the piano, never really mastering it ever.  I eventually learned to read notes...
Hey Wait. I was talking about the Martian.

It was published in hardcover on my birthday I see.  Because my number came up pointedly in one part of the movie after the potato scenes refreshed my memory of my childhood, I knew this movie was meant for me.  I know the real reason for this...It probably does go back to when I visited the Cape Canaveral space center years ago in Florida, and probably also, because I have been into esp experiments,  mental telepathy, electronic wiring, and what ever.

Yes, the movie is about the space program, NASA, JPL, and an imaginary story of what happens to an astronaut if he is left alone to survive on a hostile planet such as Mars.  On that note I will say that Mexicans who try to cross over the desert in Arizona in the summertime can not survive so why think that even a highly skilled and well trained astronaut can survive on his own the harsh climate of Mars. I ask ya.

Yes, I went to see the movie on the very day that the news media is discussing another mass murder that happens all too often in this gun happy nation.  While I do not identify with MW ( could that be that they left the B off so that it is a BMW?)  to think that the whole world is listening to everything I say, I might begin to think that after awhile.  I chose rather to think that I was meant to think that maybe it is more like the planet Mars that I can think that this book or movie is intended to make me realize.

I do cuss and swear I admit.  It is one of the things that I liked best was to think that these were people with whom I could like.  Granted, when I was a paid English teacher, I would say "Watch your language" and discouraged cursing and swearing in the classroom.  I grew up learning how to cuss and swear very easily, and have found only a few who can even swear harder and wore than I can.

So I relaxed a lot in the movie because I have been doing a lot of that lately.

A movie after my own heart, as I say.

Well, so the Martian is a thriller, suspenseful, and full of Hollywood drama and special effects.

The reality is that it is only another piece of celluloid, that Matt Damon does a great job of keeping people interested in his survival tactics,  that Jeff Daniels acts like the prick that he is supposed to be, and that the women in the film finally make Sally Ride look heroic to those of us who remember her.

See the film in 3-D.  It is the only way it will satisfy your desire to know.  It is a great study in friendship and camaraderie!  I loved the fact that China plays a big role in this film.  Good flick!
