Health Issues

The main reason that I believe a sincere effort to understand the nature of birth and rebirth involves not only sound mental health but also physical health.

I mentioned fear earlier regarding both Genghis Khan and Cromagnon man. When one is under hypnotic suggestion, one relives the experience as the entity lived it at the moment. The fear is that of the person facing the threat that creates the fear.

Fear is a lifesaving emotion. I suspected that I may have been in serious danger which is why I felt such a powerful sensation in me. I would not go back again because of that block to learning anything more in that person's experience.

But I learned so much from the Genghis Khan experience that I have to discuss it. Genghis had been born with a clot in his hand as apparently he had clutched at his mother's discharge when he came out of her womb. Clots became very important to me and the story of Genghis having had a mortal wound in which a friend saved his life managed to save me when I had any of my bleeding spells. I had begun to have nose bleeds after taking St. John Wort one time. I would never take it again despite its effectiveness. As I was in a study of Louis XIV at the time, and there had been a special show in Mississippi on the Glories of the Versaille, I had bought the catalogue book of the items shipped from France to Mississippi. One portrait of the king in the saddle has a rust spot at his nose. I always thought how odd that only one nostril would bleed for me. This bleeding had been a problem and always to stop it one has to have a blood clot form.

The stories of Genghis Khan then sustained me because I knew that if he could survive, so could I. As a child, I had fallen when carrying a glass of milk and had cut my left hand. That is the only scar that I ever suffered. I have thought how odd that Genghis and I both experience something that is in our hands.

Because Genghis had suffered some wound in his leg, I had a strange incident happen to me which has made me believe that it is related to Genghis. He did die about 15 years after that incident that caused the wound but some authors believe that was the cause of his death. I frankly doubt it. But the incident on my leg which has me always watching it made me think I would probably last at least that long.

I have never wanted to know anything more about Genghis Khan than I already know. I learned so much about Louis XIV and Alexander (both kings) that I did not want to ever put myself through anymore internal searches. I believe that the spiritual record is there for me to know if I should want to learn of it. The spiritual record is the true survival record. I am a believer. I know enough to let Genghis alone for now...

Learning of Louis XIV and Alexander did me good. It made me see and know how the really extravagantly rich lived in those times. Believe me, they lived lives far grander than history lets us know. We have no idea today of the real homage made to kings and queens by those who lived around them as the men and women who designed their clothes, their furnishings, their accessories,as these same men and women took pride and dignity in their work and made the fabrics, the jewels, the perfumes, the ornaments, the rugs, the paintings and portraits with sincere care and dedication. That is true wealth, the love and sincerity of your able and capable staff, your laborers, your family. Were these kings and queens not so well regarded and loved, they would not have had life as good and grand as it had been. They had a legacy upon which to draw, and therefore, they did respond to history's demands made upon them.

Never should they or the times in which they lived be underestimated.
