Computer Cleanup

I admit that I am the world's worst when it comes to understanding computers. I had a friend years ago (back when women were truly discriminated against) who took a course in computer programming and she was darn good at it, but because she was female (in the 60's) she did not get the backing and encouragement needed to become a paid professional. I do not fully understand all of it but she was a natural. For those of you who remember me from way back then, it was Dorothy, who worked for the city of Phoenix, and with me at St. Joseph's hospital as an aide on Thursday nights.

At any rate, I had my fair share of computer problems again, and did not know what the heck was wrong but I could tell something is wrong.

I don't know why when I have a firewall up that things could get through but I just read an article in PC Magazine and am taking a hint. I will get the right kind of security as this article says that you need at least two. I had had two but the guy who counseled me at Windows advised me that I needed only one...Not so...I had to have this computer cleaned, and now it is up and running, like Mr. Midnight, a little joke from Lifetime and Jack Nicholson. I just saw the movie As Good As It Gets the other evening.

I am still reading Digital Fortress although I admit to skimming ahead. I just knew it..that Dan Brown. He knows how to reach me all right..Julius Caesar and his square code are the clue on that one...ho, ho, and a bottle of rum as we say.


This blog sometimes becomes like mydeardiary...I just have to speak my mind.
