This is an excellent documentary which does incorporate some of the recently made movie on Genghis Khan.
I saw the movie and liked it very much. The actor is very credible in his interpretation of a man who in fact the world knows literally nothing but the results of his acts.
The one history on him is as much as mankind knows about him. It was transcribed by a Persian. Genghis Khan is a fascinating man to study and to come to know. Conn Iggulden has written novels about him that are purely fictional and sticks to the known story better than most fiction writers. Jack Weatherford's book is the place where I learned that the Mongols had been trampled to death by war elephants.
So my brief experience to learn something about him had some substance in fact.
