The right side of the sketch shows the place where the plane exploded. I was standing by the door at the rear of the plane when I watched the side of the plane suddenly explode, and create a hole in the side of the plane..It literally pealed, like when one opens a can, and then the wing blew off and I watched it fall which is the article in the left beside the area which is where the pealing of the side happened...the wing blew out, as I was at the rear watching and seeing all of this, being able to read the letters of the plane as when it blew it was red, gold, and black from the teriffic force, and then I saw the cockpit fall. I tried to capture all these scenes on paper as I had seen them. Next day I told my mother all about it as we walked down the hallway of Fashion Square, passing Warner Bros. shop that they had had there. It had reminded me of a rooster getting his head chopped. I have seen those many times when a child. So there was a cartoon rooster that I likened it too. Since I was reading Lynn Hunt's Romance of a Family, it reminded me of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette also.
I watched the cockpit fall, and two attendants came out to stand on the edge (spiritually) and saluted me as they went down. I can never forget them as they were in full uniform.
I collected everything that there was on this air crash. I had taken a travel agency course through the auspices of a flight attendant who had flown for TWA. It is Hollywood in California at terminal 3, always being associated with Howard Hughes.
Paris Match did show the proof that the hole in the side of the plane matched my memory about the image of it...
