Self-Hypnotic Tapes

In the 1980's I purchased a group of cassette tapes which were made to put one's self into a hypnotic trance, and I have kept them and used them periodically as they actually do work in a way that is quite astonishing.

I am not one who is likely to allow anyone but myself to tamper with my mind, and I have attended local hypnotic sessions done for entertainment to watch others go to sleep, and to obey commands given by a hypnotist. There was a craze years ago in California when it was quite fashionable to let a hip hypnotist put you to sleep and to make a fool of yourself on stage. We actually watched people who would go to sleep instantly just upon the mere thought of it, and it is quite fascinating to witness people en masse making total fools of themselves just for humor.

So while I would not let anyone else tamper with my mind, as I think that one's own mind is too precious to let others control and manipulate, I decided to try it myself to see if I could actually go under in a trance and learn anything while in that state of being..

I realize that these blogs should be short and to the point to be effective.
